I have been watching this on EBAY and yesterday it was at $43,000 and everything seemed fine now someone retracted their bid and it's back to $20,000. Their reason for retraction is failure to get in touch with the seller. Seller has perfect feed back all tough it is only a 54 but he has sold some vintage cards. It just seems that this is a big card to sell for someone with a track record like his. Is it for real or a stolen scan?

they did give a reasonable explanation below....if i were bidding on this card I would want to talk with the seller on the phone. Period.....

edited to add this is probably a good auction and I did in fact speak with the seller of the N167's (on ebay) before I bid....I think it's good practice to speak with someone on high dollar purchases...

Probally fishing to see what the reserve was and then retracted it. Should you not try to cal the seller first then bid??? Why would you bid first then try to call?? I agree you might want to talk to the seller first... Looks like a legit itrem though..

That looks like one of the better registry Planks that I have seen.If I had the scratch,I would bid.

I agree Jim. He found the reserve and made an excuse to retract. Call the seller first and then bid if you are legit.
