I agree that trimming the ad off of a Mayo Cut Plug baseball card does make the card look a lot better. And I agree that doing so diminishes long term collector value. Similarly, the Exhibit four on ones are really too big to be as enjoyable to kids as four individual smaller cards, so, I can understand seperating them as well. The same applies to many cards which have been altered by their original owners. |

I think because strip cards have dotted lines to guide the cuts that they were as Scott said,intended to be cut while double plays dont have the dotted lines that would signify "cut here" |

I have some uncut strips; It is obvious that they were intended to be cut apart. I actually think it is silly for a slabber to state "hand cut" on a strip card. Duh! |
