back from fort washington show

i just returned from the fort washington show.obviously some incredible stuff.
after talking to a dealer in pre-war about graded cards i commented that it seems graded cards are ,in general,priced higher then raw.he disagreed ,stating thats a common misnomer among collectors.what's your experience?higher $?

I would have to agree with your assessment. My experience in the last couple of years has been that most dealers expect more for slabbed mid to lower grade cards (pre WW1). Buyers also seem to be paying more for graded examples on ebay as well.
