overseas ebay transaction

need help from the legal eagles.

if i purchase something overseas via mastercard, am i protected from a scammer if i don't receive the goods or it isn't what it is represented as being? thanks, keith

I've bought some albums out of Europe and those transactions went fine for me. If you got scammed out of a significant amount I think Interpol would take the place of the FBI in that circumstance.

Mind you that Tony guy out of France or wherever seems to still be around despite frauds so who knows...
