T206 Boxes

Came across a few more. Jon Canfield gave me this information:

"While there really aren't any population reports out there, I can render
some guesses as to your questions... Speaking only for OPENED boxes,
I would give the following estimations..."

Sweet Caporal - 300+
Piedmont - 300+
Sovereign - 150
El Principle - 70-100
Old Mill - 50
Lenox - 15
Uzit - 5
Tolstoi - 30
Cycle - 30
Broadleaf - only have seen 2 - I own one
American Beauty - 5
Hindu - only have seen pictures
Drum - only have seen the front label


What I would like to know are how many of these boxes have been authenticated as being true T206 boxes? (Right factory, date on tax stamp, overprinting, etc.)

I would like to know what members here have. TIA

Hi Richard,
I have the following:

1. Lenox
2. Sovereign
3. 3 Sweet Caps, 2 Fact 42 Nc and 1 Fact 25 VA
4. Piedmont Fact 25 VA
5. Cycle


All have tax stamps from Stamp Act of 1910, and 2 have overprints of 1909.
