What do you mean today is opening day? The Aussie Football League got started Thursday. And thanks to Fox Sprts world, we can once again watch the greatest game being played

Baseball viewing is gonna be interesting in MN since the Twins still have no TV/cable contract.

Opening day was last week at 4:00 in the morning CDT! Boy, watching that Yankee game bleary eyed and juiced up on No-Doze took me back to my youth. The chants of the Japanese fans made me feel like a kid again....even if I couldn't understand a word. Next year I am hoping for the season to start in Novisibirsk Russia at 2:30am CDT. GOD BLESS BUD SELIG!

For all you "coasters" out there you better not forget that there is a team in KC this year! Built on a $43 M budget. Yesterday was possibly the greatest opening day comeback in history. You gotta "believe"! Down 7-3 in the bottom of the ninth...Mendy Lopez (who??) three run home run...Carlos Beltran two run home run. Whoa!!!!!!!

KC? Where is the starting pitching? Dream year last year, not happening again. The Twins will run away with the division!!!!!!

Now if Pohlad will stop being so greedy and work out an agreement so that we get local TV it would really be a great year.

Awesome Opening-Day win by the Royals yesterday! I live about 30 minutes from the stadium, wish I could have seen that!! I think this year will be different. The Twins had a bad offseason I thought, lost some key members of their bullpen and didn't really gain anyone. Royals are primed to win the Central this year and now now have a lot of momentum to start the season off!

Did you happen to see the Twins finish? Down 4 to 0 in the 8th. Tie it up, Win with a homer in the 11th. It's called a strong bullpen, to hold them down. KC won''t even make it to 500, heck the Tigers might have a better record than them.
