The buyer of that card has a tendency to inflate the market place on what ever he bids. Merkle923 is Keith Olberman (remember ESPN) and obviously has the $$ to purchase whatever he wants. I remember he did this to the Topps Heritage set a few years back. |

But it takes a second person to make for a high sale price. If you are the only bidder, it doesn't matter what you were willing to pay, you will get it for the minimum bid. |
