I know most people who go to this board also use e-Bay. Please be aware that there is a new scam e-mail being sent out as follows:

Dear eBay member! Your information in our eBay file, was marked (flagged) as incorrect and/or (fraudulent). To avoid any inconvenience concerning an interruption of your service membership, in future. Please take just a moment and update your eBay billing file. Remember to "doublecheck" all the fields for any possible mistakes. To respond and update your information , please click on the web address below. If that does not work, please cut and paste the entire web address into the address field of your browser. ************************* It was signed :::801-546-2665, ATTN: Marry Regards, Marry eBay SafeHarbor Investigations Team ______________________________ ID Verify is safe. Your information is secured! The information you supply below is used solely to confirm its accuracy for verification purposes.

If you get this e-mail, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO IT. Instead forward a copy include the headers to safe harbor.

Anyone else received any emails from ebay telling you how to change your password and that if you haven't tried, to ignore the email? I received 8 from ebay over a two day period and my conclusion is that someone is trying to hack my account by guessing at my password and trying to change it to their own choice, for whatever reason. I emailed ebay about it and got the standard response. I got the ISP number and am going to be on the lookout but I always marvel at how low some cretins will sink in this world to try and pull something like this.
