Default Colorado Fraud Case Finally Over After 5 Years

He sold $300k in fake cards to a collector on Long Island, who then tried to flip them through PWCC. The guy finally confessed. The collector wants to stay anonymous, lol.

As I understood it, this was one of Copperfeld's (the Mexican mastermind) henchmen. Scary shit.

Very hot problem in the 2010s. Mexican guy nicknamed Copperfeld putting all sorts of fake PSA slabs into the U.S. market through guys like Mayo. Cards were everywhere, high end stuff. It was pretty hard to detect them. FBI tried to stop him for years, they may eventually have succeeded. Discussed here a number of times.
