1973 "Battle of the Sexes" Field Level Pass
Billie Jean King vs Bobby Riggs
More than 30,000 packed the Astrodome while 90 million watched on TV (53 million watched the Super Bowl that year, so tells you how big it was). Still the most watched Tennis Match of All Time. Surprisingly no Tickets or Passes are graded by PSA. There are however 2 Fulls, 1 Stub, and 2 Passes known, including this one here, the other Pass sold at Robert Edward Auctions in 2005, none of the tickets have come to a major auction house (yet). So if you don't want to wait another 18 years for one to pop up here is your chance. There were 2 movies made and the Match itself can be viewed in its entirety on YouTube. Howard Cossell, the hype, the celebrities, and a very good match make it a must watch. Crazy how much people and the world has changed since 1973.
