This item is up for auction. Have seen several people ask about it in various Facebook groups. Don’t plan on bidding on it, just curious the boards thoughts on it. SEVERAL of the autographs don’t look close to how said players signed. The Walter Johnson, Mel Ott, Hank Greenberg especially look the worst.

Left side: Everything actually looks OK, if a bit rushed in some cases. The Herman and Collins in particular are dead on; Collins' autograph is an extremely, extremely difficult one to forge. I bet that the Terry looks even better in person. I'm seeing a really faint Clint Brown between Grove and Herman; looks good!
If that's supposed to be Joe McCarthy at bottom center, then it's horrible. Right side: Garbage; someone was messing around. The Jurges may likely be OK, but I'm not spending time on Bill Jurges' worthless autograph, as it doesn't add or detract to value either way at this (or practically any other) point. |

The one I'm struggling to identify is "Rosey". I've dealt with this autograph enough in the ancient past to know it's authentic, but it's not a ballplayer. Fairly certain it's a boxer. Anyone care to ease this guy's mind? (FYI, it's not Max "Rosie" Rosenfeld or Slapsy Maxie Rosenblum.)
GOT IT! I deciphered what it says underneath "Rosey": KDKA! The oldest radio station on earth, out of Pittsburgh! I was incorrect; not a boxer. It's Rosey Rowswell, sportscaster for Pirates games. Now, nobody is forging that guy's autograph on a piece, are they?! As noted, I've seen it several times before and my mind first recognized it as an authentic autograph based on formation before the answer came to me! Anyway, mystery quickly solved. Unless Dinneen ever gets inducted, it sold for pretty much breakup value if pieced out as individual cuts. I wouldn't pay anywhere near that, but I wouldn't want to own it at all.

Item sold last night in Mile high for $6300. Kinda shocked that item wasn’t authenticated before being auctioned especially with Ruth on said item.

That Johnson is laughable!
How does the tail of the "l" in Walter, become the "J" in Johnson? Steve

Someone will be hacking that thing up into sliver cuts in a matter of minutes. All the junk will likely be dispersed of. Let's hope, anyway.
