Default FS: Frank Reagan (d.72) 1940s Eagles/Giants NFL Player Signed Index Card - SOLD

SOLD

Rare autograph of Frank Reagan (1919–1972), former football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He played professionally for the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles during a seven-season National Football League (NFL) career that spanned from 1941 to 1951. Reagan served as the head football coach at Villanova University from 1954 to 1959, compiling a record of 16–36. He was also Villanova's athletic director from 1957 to 1961. Mr. Reagan passed away in 1972 at the age of 53.

The index card features a beautiful, ornate fountain pen signature. Information on the reverse shows that it was received in 1957. Research shows this autograph to be from the notable Roger Harris (of Rutland, VT) collection. Note that the index card is slightly larger than a standard index card, measuring approx. 5-3/4" by 3-1/2", and is slightly recessed in the middle where the signature is. It remains in NM condition.

Asking $75 shipped (net) OBO. Payment via PayPal F&F, Venmo, check, or money order.
