I was offered these seats recently. The person said they bought them on Ebay about 8 years ago as Fenway Park Seats.
I'm not so sure. My hunch is they might be indoor theater seats. Any opinions on here. Please...... and thank you in advance! Peace, Mike thumbnail_IMG_5804.jpg Last edited by vthobby; 05-30-2020 at 03:54 PM. |

Not Fenway seats at all, what kind of info did they give you - I have seen a lot of Fenway Park seats over the years. Good luck!

They do not look right for any outdoor stadium seats.

Absolutely not from Fenway.

Also odd that they pieced together the #8 and #14 seats to make the pair.

I agree that these are not Fenway Park seats. Most likely seats from a lecture hall or auditorium. The fact that the numbers are not sequential is also a giveaway that the 2 seats are a "marriage," and not how they would have originally been found.

Not like any Fenway seats I've seen. And last time I was there some areas still had the original seats.
The ones I think are the oldest are very similar to Yankee stadium seats. No curve to the back, and no arch to the top board. Sadly, I've come to believe my Fenway seat is actually from Yankee Stadium. I was told it was removed during a renovation in 70 or 71 and one of the construction guys bought it. That part I believe, since it was removed pretty roughly. But I can't find a reference to any 1970-71 renovations at Fenway. But Yankee Stadium did have renovations. How it would have ended up in suburban Boston is a bit of a mystery. Haven't taken a pic of it yet, so I swiped a couple off the interwebs.. Fenway Yankee stadium Mine has the same green color that's under the blue... Can't complain too much, it was super cheap in 83. |

Here are the seat of Fenway since 1912. They have obviously added padded green seats and barstool style seats in the Pavilion Club and on top of the Monster. I am guessing that you don't want anything new. I have a 8/9 number seats (blue wood) that were put in in the early 40's and taken out of Fenway during the renovations around 2010. If you would like and are interested in purchasing seats from Fenway that are documented PM me and I will point you in the right direction.
