I have an unpaid item case open for the buyer, 'dablackpanther'.

I have had no success contacting buyer and, upon, checking their feedback, they have ZERO entries in the last year.

These details make me wonder if an unauthorized person has used the account.


I'm sure someone can advise me on how to avoid this in the future...I have seen, in the past, item descriptions which contain limitations on what feedback level or grade from whom the seller will accept bids.

Is it possible to cancel an active or winning bid? I asked these questions to the 'BAY, but haven't heard back yet...and wanted to let everyone be aware of this buyer.

Close out your unpaid item case with Ebay so you can get your fees back and put him on your blocked bidder list.

In your listing preferences you should be able to choose to block anybody from bidding who has 2 or more closed unpaid item claims against them in the last 30 days, 180 days, or 360 days.

Doesn't help if they don't have cases against them already, but it's about the best you can do for bidders you don't already know enough to put them straight on your blocked bidder list.
