I think that's in Worcester, Ma. There's a newspaper of that name in Worcester, and one of the signs mentions Worcester.

Looked for the building, and if it is Worcester the building is long gone. It was most likely at what's now federal square, a small park next to a federal building. The building was built in the 30's, and the park in 1991.

Took a bit, but I finally dated it to May 1910 based on the display sign for Worcester Stock. Co. and the play Mrs. Lettingwell's Boots starring John Cumberland.

I'm sure Scott B. can speak to the connection between Worcester and the T204 set.

I grew up in the Worcester, MA area. One of the posters in the top left corner refers to "White City" which is a section of the city near Lake Quinsigamond.

Nowadays, the Rep would have to pay a hefty sum for that placement, offer a deep 4 week deal, guarantee the sale, and agree to take back all unsold product after the promotion.

Retailers have learned a lot about how to hold the manufacturer hostage, provided they want any type of incremental display like that.

If anyone else has a postcard like this and wants to sell it, I am a very strong buyer(yes I'll use that term). I have been seeking one for well over a decade. Would have owned this one had Ramly been anywhere in the title.

I was the underbidder. I predict that one day an LOTG auction will still be running when the next one starts.

I think the store is in Trenton, not in Worcester. On the left side of the window there's an advertisement for outings at White City, which was an amusement park in Trenton. The Worcester Stock Company (sign on the right side) was a traveling group who may have been appearing in the area.

This was a gem of a lot.

I was falling asleep on the night of the auction, put in one more max bid (up to bid) over where it was at, and went to sleep. I figured if you or Scott (or whomever) wanted it real bad, and saw it, I wasn't going to just run ya'll up. But lacking that it is a cool postcard for the collection.
