Default Sports Illustrated 40 Year Run....Singles For Sale

Picked up a 40 year run of Sports illustrated (from first issue forward). Most in very nice condition, though they do have the mailing label. If anybody is interested in a particular issue(s) kindly let me know and I will send you pics and a price.

Actually I know guys who prefer the first two issues with the mailing label. With the warehouse "find" issues that SI released a few years ago it killed the value of the first issue. with the mailing label it feels a little more genuine, even though the ones they released were technically original too.

The first issue never had a mailing label. It was distributed in a mailing envelope. The first issue with a label is # 2.

I did not know about the "find"--thanks for the information. Yes, the first issue is label-free. And I have two of the second issue, one with a label and one without (though I am absolutely certain the one without a label is from the period and not from the more recent "find").
