Hi all. I am new to this site and would appreciate any help on an item I bought at an estate sale. I found what appears to be some type of store advertisement from the 1922 Goldsmith spring and summer catalog. This item may be the front cover but I cannot find a pic anywhere of the 1922 edition. The item is 16" x 11" and the cardboard is 1/16" thick. I am posting a pic. The pic shows (hope u can see it) a crackling in the picture finish. This does not appear to be a hand painted item but I don't know what type printing methods they used in the 1920's.
I guess I am looking for confirmation that this is a store advertisement piece and maybe a ballpark value. Thanks to all in advance. |
