I have a really good friend that has written a lot of books on various sports figures.He is a huge Red Sox fan and his hero is Ted Williams.He has written a few books with Ted.But when Robert Redford did the Natural and he wore "#9"my friend contacted Mr. Redford and they started communicating.By friend had a custom made bat made and had it inscribed with the name of the movie and Redford's character.Which he got Mr. Redford to sign. in two places.Ones as his character and one as Robert Redford. My friend is looking to part ways with this bad.But he has ask me to try and find a value and to try and sell it.If selling it does not work on these baseball groups than it will show up on eBay shortly.Any idea what you think this would carry for a value. If anyone that reads this and are seriously interested in this item I can put you in direct contact with my friend.I am sure he can explain in a lot for detail exactly what he has.Thanks.
