October 1979, San Antonio, TX card show - anybody else here attend that by chance?
I remember somehow my parents allowed me to attend a baseball card show in October of 1979 - I was 9 then. I know this was the timeframe as we attended it on our way out of town moving from San Antonio, TX to Huntsville, AL that month - prior to (or during) the 79 world series.
All I remember from this show was wanting a 1979 Red Sox Team Card - and getting this autograph from this old timer - even back then. I also remember thinking how large the show was. Anybody here happen to live in that area and perhaps attend that show? Thought I'd throw it out there - thx Eric
