Many thanks to all of the veterans that served in the US Armed Forces!
Johnny Vander Meer served in the Navy in WWII. Here are two photos of Vandy in the Navy: The 1st is a group photo of his boot camp 1944 graduating class at Sampson Naval Base in NY.
