John Havlicek Stamp Questions
Hi-
I recently purchased the John Havlicek autographed postcard scanned below and I have a few questions regarding it. Has anyone seen the black and white Havlicek stamp before? Any other similar stamps? Is it a team issue? I could not find anything similar online. The postmark on the other side of the card appears to be 1970 (it is difficult to read). Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Alan

It does look like the test issue, and that is a beautiful set! I do not think I have seen even one card from it before. Were the test cards ever in packs? If so, where were they distributed? Regarding the stamps, has anyone seen any similar to the Havlicek? Alan

Here is an article about the set. I have seen that particular picture somewhere else but I can't seem to remember where. Maybe a yearbook or program.
