Rules:
1. Payments are to be made via PAYPAL GOODs once the break is completely full. PLEASE ONLY INCLUDE YOUR NET54BASEBALL USERNAME IN THE PAYMENT INFO. (All payments sent via paypal gift will be refunded as well as any payment without a shipping address)
2. Each spot represents a card in the product/set described meaning everyone will receive a card for each spot they have. I will assign the each of the 263 cards a random number and post the list on this thread. The spot you receive in the random drawing will match one of the 263 cards.
3. The random drawing will be done live via UstreamTV and recorded for those who won’t be able to watch it live. A list will be posted of the results right after the live drawing is complete.
4. Until 12/19 at 12:00PM EST, forum members may only reserve a maximum of 1 spot. After 12/19 at 12:00 PM EST members can reserve extra spots if they would like. (You can reserve any spots of your choice 1-263, or ask for random spot and I will pick a random spot for you)
5. I will allow a two-day period for all buying/trading/selling once the random drawing takes place
6. All buying/trading/selling must be confirmed by both parties. Both members must confirm the trade on the thread and send me a private message with the details.
7. Once you post on the thread you agree to pay for the spots reserved. (Please be sure you want to join before posting).
8. International shipping may cost extra, just a heads up to those in Canada and elsewhere.

I have been wondering about something regarding this break. If it has already been answered, please pardon the redundant nature of this question.

When the '54 Topps Set Break took place, there was a variable which was not in place for this one. After you ran slot/spot numbers through the computer "randomizer," it yielded a list. From this list, you were able to determine which Net54 member received which card.

This method was very straightforward. If said member was supposed to receive card #123, they knew, ahead of time, which particular card that would be.

With this break, how will we know, as the break occurs, who will receive which card? Will the person who receives the Babe Ruth be the one who receives, "Card #1" or will there be some other method in place?

PLEASE LET US KNOW BEFORE THE BREAK. It would be greatly appreciated.

I will generate a list and assign each card a random number. I will spread out the bigger cards throughout the random number assignment so it will keep people watching the live broadcast and once the live broadcast is over I will officially publish the list.

Let me know if that makes sense and thanks for the question.

Pardon my naïveté. How can you do both?

If you're going to assign random numbers, then I suggest you do it and then stick to a published list. If you're going to spread out the bigger cards to encourage viewers to watch the majority (or entirety) of the broadcast, then I suggest you do that and stick to a published list.

A list will definitely published and that will be published tomorrow. I haven't had time with the holidays to draft it but rest assured it will be a fair and transparent break as usual.
