Ron, a few years back, i posted some info about Dvorak's work on the 1953 Topps issue. Not sure, but I think i emailed to a member who wanted to see an old BBC mag article about the artist and his remembrances. I still have the articles in my files, if you also want to see them.

Thanks I'm not sure , I think Gerry was the artist for Mickey Mantle. I met him a few times

Just took a look at the BBC Mag article in my files and Dvorak responded to the interviewer question that he did not do the paintings of either Mantle or Mays, but did many others in the 1953 Topps set.
