I recently purchased these two photos in the same lot.The picture for the auction didn't have a great image resolution.I asked the seller for new photo and he said wasn't able to post a new one in time. I ask the seller if the photos had anything written on the back..and he said.." Jim Fox" and "Bob Door" on the other. I got pretty excited. I thought for $7 it was worth the gamble that they were Jimmie Foxx and Bobby Doerr snapshot. When I got them... it could be me...but do they look like Bobby Doerr or Jimmie Foxx?

First one looks more like Joe Cronin.
Looks like a case of faulty memory when the photos came back from developing that lead to misidentifying the subjects. I'll cut the kid some slack, having been allowed out in public in that oufit!

I'm not sure who the kid is, but for some reason the name "Poindexter" springs to mind...
