1957 Mickey Mantle Trimmed?
A lady contacted me the other day and offered me this card for $250. I haven't seen this card yet. She sent me photos of the card and the top edge looks a little suspicious to me. The scratches are on the card, not the case.
Anyways, if you guys see anything that looks discerning to you please post a reply! I will probably end up getting it if she is willing to take $200... Thanks guys.

Hey, it is very hard to tell in the holder. In the top picture, it looks like both sides could be trimmed. In the bottom, it looks like neither is trimmed. I am the worst at detecting trimmed cards though. I have one that was slabbed altered, and i have stared at it for a long time and cannot figure it out. Some others may be a little better at weighing in though.
Assuming you cannot see it in person first, it might be worth taking a chance on it at $200. I cannot remember what i paid for mine but it is beat up and I think it set me back a little bit. Good luck!

It is nice looking, but that is a lot to pay if the card is trimmed.

Mine is a SGC 60
Does anyone go for the 'ghost' variations? You are taking a huge risk, when you can save up a little bit more and get one more 'centered'
