My father bought this ticket in a Leland's auction in 1991. When he did, there was word that there were only three known tickets to the 1903 series, and one of them is at the Hall of Fame. I don't know if that's true, but I do know that this is a big ticket item.
My father has asked me some questions and I don't have great answers so I'm going to put them here. Should he get this authenticated/slabbed? If he wanted to sell, should he go back to Leland's, to REA, or to...? Anybody have any opinions as to what this might sell for at auction these days? Thanks in advance for any and all opinions.
