| Genuine E121-80 Ruth?

This E121-80 "Babe" Ruth was recently listed on ebay here: Link. I've attached an image from the auction. No back scan was given. The auction ended early since I'm assuming that the seller sold it offline. However, I am still curious to see if the card was genuine. The color of the card looked strange and faded, but I wanted to know if there are any other determining characteristics that others can see from the picture to determine if the card is real or not? I don't believe the E121-80 series is heavily reprinted. However, obviously, any card of value is very likely to have fakes, especially Ruth's of this value. |
