If you thought bat slivers and tiny pieces of uniform were bad,, look at this

I am sorry, if some like this. but this is wrong. Taking tiny bat slivers, tiny patches of uniforms, ruining autographs for chase cards are bad enough gimmicks but now some manufacturer is creating and selling these cut Presidential autographs. Presidents did not go around signing autograph albums and index cards and such. Presidential autographs are usually found on documents or letters. There are few cuts offered to Presidential collectors. These chase card cuts can, most likely, only be produced in one way. Destroying a letter or document by cutting the signature off. They are destroying history to once again create a chase card with a vastly and ridiculously inflated price. This is just wrong. I collect Presidents and have more Presidential documents framed on my walls than I do baseball stuff and I really resent this.

At least the production is very low.
Any bets on how many of the older ones are secretarial from common documents? And how many of the more recent ones are autopens from christmas cards or the generic "thanks for writing " cards? Steve B

I believe there is also a Leaf "Oval Office" set that is basically the same thing. They advertise "Look for the Washington & Lincoln dual cut auto!" Seriously.
I'm just hoping for a swatch of Lincoln's "Speech Worn" top hat and a sliver of Washington's "Meal Used" wooden teeth.
