SCARCE 1936 Home Run E-UNC Candy Card of Pep Young - SOLD!!
A terrific "type card" from the mid 30s of Pep Young. These are very similar to the S&S Game cards however, there are a couple differences which distinguish these candy cards from their S&S counterparts.
The pictures on these cards are taller top to bottom than the S&S photos. The S&S cards have green backs while these are normal "card-stock" colored. The back on this Young is actually blank. These cards are extremely scarce! SGC has only graded two of them. BVG has graded one and PSA and BGS have yet to grade one at all. One graded example is listed on Ebay right now, a Gehringer SGC 40, and it has a BIN of $1000. I've only seen 3-4 raw ones floating around Net 54 the past few years. This card is in great condition - a solid VG/EX if not EX. No wear, wrinkling and corners/edges are mostly sharp. Asking $60 delivered... Thanks in advance!
