Which is rarer, t206 bill abstein red or orange background??

This card has always been a mystery to me. Why are there so many color variations with it?? Which is rarer in high grade? Thanks for any help

Orange, just like the orange Tinker and Chance.

Abstein is one card that can be all over the place in terms of color and even back colors IMO. Milligan is also another one that you see come in shades of orange to vivid red Cobb red also.

I tend to see more Absteins with red backgrounds than orange. Here is an orange that I picked up a few years ago.
