Harry Vardon Golf Ticket?
Hello,
Wondering if anyone has seen one of these golf tickets before. Is in a yale scrap book from the period 1891-1902. Any help/insight would be appreciated. Last edited by bigfish; 01-24-2011 at 07:32 PM.

Match / Exhibition tickets
Very nice ticket. Back in these days "professional" golfers like Harry Vardon were more along the lines of making clubs for members as well as conducting lessons. Obviously Vardon was the top guy back then and used to conduct exhibitions for his talents. This is a ticket from one of those exhibitions and is a very nice item. You will find values all over the board depending on who you talk to. I have seen items like this advertised for more than $1000, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So is the checkbook.
