I don't have this in hand yet but it has been payed for and I can not wait to receive it. In the short time I have been collecting vintage, this card was something I set out immediately to obtain and with my luck it came up for auction on eBay this past week and I happened to win it! I thought this achievement of mine deserved its own thread to just show everyone that it can be done! Your card will pop up!
I have been a lifelong White Sox fan and my connection to this card should be pretty self explanatory. Without further ado... ![]() ![]() This card will not be going anywhere! Thanks for looking guys! -An excited kid ![]()

Funny, I can remember the first N28 Comiskey card I picked up well, It was in the late 80's when the movie "8 Men Out" came out, I was hooked on the BlackSox cards for a few years, but this was the first one I wanted.
Classic card! |

Great card, Seth. I nearly bid on it myself, but went after the T227 Bender that ended the same night. To no avail, as it turned out, but I'm glad it worked it for you.

Congratulations, Seth. Sharing excitement over acquisitions is a great part of the hobby. I'm crossing my fingers that a certain obscure basketball card falls into my lap. Mark

To everyone-
Thank you for sharing my excitement! I will put some nice new scans up when it comes in. Scotty- I am probably going to try to corner the vintage Red Sox market and start collecting Bobby Doerr ![]()
