Highlights will include Carver's 1834 Book of Sports (estimate $3,000-4,000) * Original artwork for a Honus Wagner cigar box label circa 1909 ($3,000-4,000) * The spring training expense journal for the 1925 Yankees reading "Ruth to Hot Springs, 76.23" ($600-900) * Pay order for a carpenter at Yankees Stadium, [April 1923?] ($500-750) * The original design for the scoreboard at Sportsman's Park, 1953 ($2,000-3,000). We'll have a public exhibition on Saturday, March 21 from 10 to 4; Monday, March 23 through Wednesday, March 25 from 10 to 6; and Thursday morning March 26 before the sale from 10 to 12. If you can't make it to the exhibition, I'm also glad to answer questions by phone or e-mail. |
