"Shotgun" Shuba...one of the best nicknames in baseball history. As a kid he was a hero of mine, I learned about the "Handshake" when studying Jackie in school. When I got this card...I smiled...

So cool he signed "Shotgun" Scott!!! Makes that card twice as awesome...

Interestingly, the modern 1953 Topps Archives #35 also shows “playe”. I’m sort of suspicious that the above card showing “player” is a PhotoShop creation (i.e., every card #35 I look at lacks the “r”). If there was a correction, then the Archives version wouldn’t have the error.

I agree 100% w/ Bob--Here's my example, also missing the "r".

I don't believe I've ever seen a #35 w/ it, but have never seen it listed as an UER either.

Am not aware of a corrected Noren and my 91 reprint does have the error. Bob's baseball card logic is always Spock like. Larry---is the scan you posted your card ? If so, amazing gem
