Default Wild Bill's Ghost

3k innings, 289 complete games, 2.69 era yet never got more then 15% of the HOF vote because of the Blacksox scandal suspicion. Due in train wreck in 23. Now this 206 is left to haunt us.

Beautiful snapshot. Groh has one of my all time favorite cards:

The bottle bat. Looks like he could row a boat with that thing.

I have the same card of Groh without the signature. Tim, or anyone out there, know anything about them?

Since it seems we are on a Groh roll, here is an E220 National Caramel of Heinie that utilizes the same photo as the Exhibits. And in not so unusual fashion for this set, it was cut by a crazy person working the baseball card printing machine.

I don't know anything about these photos, but I did see another one once of a different player. I'm not a set collector, so I didn't pursue it.

I bought mine 9 years ago. Beautiful signature.

Cobb t213-2. I agree these have been too cheap. Bought the large lot in an REA auction not too long ago, enjoy them a lot. 67 including 17 HOF, g-Vg but less than $70/card seemed too good to pass up. Colors are great on these. Bought the Cobb separately same auction.

The 1933-36 Zeenut set(s) are known for having quite a few size projection variations, due to changes made between years (the years that cards were issued for these sets have not all been sorted out, because examples with coupons intact are needed for identification). Thus we have the 1933-36 lumping together of these cards as one set, instead of a checklist for each year. Here are a couple size variations for Art Garibaldi.

Hey Gary,

I guess if you're going to do the W517 color variations then Babe Ruth would be the ultimate way to go. Very cool to see them all together like that.
