I absolutely love the Tinker portrait as well. I once owned an SGC 70, but it had a speckle -- really hard to see -- bit of paint missing from the tip of his nose. I really couldn't get over that and wound up selling it. |

Don't have the card anymore, not even a scan, but I always like the almost pastel look of the illustration. |

John, I don't know why the grade is low on that card. I bought the Bat on , Bat off and the Green from 1 person through SCD in the 1980's. I have the receipt but can't locate it right now. I bought the red background at a Plymouth Michigan show, also in the 1980's. They were all purchased raw. |

Those fat borders are great, especially that Cobb! Here are a few of my favorites. |

Agree with many on this one... The "Bat Off" Cobb is unrivaled in terms of combining beauty and importance. Those colors are just stunning. |

Looks like he has some light proof marks on the top and sides. What's the numeric grade, that's a beaut! |

I can't believe nobody has brought up my personal favorite in the t206 set (which was also my first pre-war card ever) the mustacheoed John Titus! The guy was certainly a throw-back as the mustache was so out by the time the t206's were being distributed. |
