Here's the JROBBY's from by 1949 and 1950 Bowman sets........So, Joe and Jeff, what grades do you assign to them ?

Also pictured is the 1st Brooklyn Dodgers program listing Jackie in its Scorecard. Jackie's uniform #42, he is batting 2nd in the line-up
and is playing at 1st base. He fielded 1st base the entire 1947 season (151 games) as Eddie Stanky was at 2nd base.

Based on the scans you posted -

I would say my card is from the first printing (not a grey back).



edit to say: Ted, Both of your Bowmans have superior registration.... so in my book - they are beauties! I don't know what number would be given - - - but I would take those over a high number grade with mis-registration.

Hey thanks for that info, I never realized that the 49 Bowman had 2 different backs.

I just looked at mine and it is from the 1st run.

IMO those 3 cards all grade EX to EX/MNT

Ted, those are beauties for sure. I would say 6-7 on the grades.

I really need to find myself one of these quickly or I'll have to pester Joe until he finally sells me his.
