Shut down my vintage clothing store last year to return to school to finish my Bachelor's in Finance.

Besides classes, I work full time as a Medical Records Clerk at a hospital.

I'm 32, so work experience hasn't been too long. I'm currently the Senior Writer for Huggins and Scott Auctions. In my past life I was.....

A market research representative for Arbitron Ratings and a two year missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) in Central Texas and the panhandle plains of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. It was unpaid, but full-time and taught me many skills that has helped me in my paid career

Currently a banking lawyer, specializing in all areas of secured lending/corporate finance. In the last year it's been all distressed lending, work-outs and debt restructurings.

But in a few weeks I will be the co-president of a credit card processing company.

And life begins again.

I just had to look at the signature line in my work email to find out my title; Telecom/Network Analyst.

I spend most of my time in network firewalls allowing and denying traffic.  So I guess I am a traffic cop.

Assistant to the Assistant to the Traveling Secretary of the New York Yankees.

Actually I own a video store, and I never eat at Taco Bell because Amigos is much better.

Hey Rob Ray, would we know your voice if we heard it?

Mike, Were you serious?..

Oh Burrito, you are supreme
with chicken, refrieds, and sour cream.
Taco Bell is the better deal,
but Moe's lasts me for two meals.
Breakfast, dinner, or even lunch,
I love a burrito a whole bunch.

See that, I don't need no stinkin' degree.

Dentist...After 12 years of being an associate at another practice, my partner and I decided to open our own practice from scratch (which explains why I have the time to sit at the computer right now). Nothing like reading about cards after doing a root canal. Have a nice day!

Another professor here (Business). It may be that the occupations that show up often are the ones where people have "discretionary" time during the day to read the board.

Barry, I am not sure why they are featured so prominently in this thread.

However, I would like to go on record with a couple of statements:
1) I ate at a Taco Bell once. Worst week of my life.
2) I am not a lawyer. I did take the LSATs once while trying to figure out my calling. I had the flu that day, filled in the scan-tron form's last 25 circles without reading the questions, and scored in the 43rd percentile. That dream was over before I could tell my first lie
3) Steve, you are plenty well-educated. Schools are great tools for sharpening your thinking skills if you use them correctly, but they are also usually just great places to hide from the real world until you are ready to do something with your life!

I'm a 4th grade teacher in the largest elementary building in north central Ohio. My students earn free Taco Bell food when they get all A's B's (and I didn't make that up!) I also teach percussion (drums) to a wonderful group of high school kids in my hometown.

HOWEVER, if SGC or PSA has any openings for graders, please let me know!

Copywriter/Creative Director at an ad agency. (And seeing how there have been more than a few Taco Bell references in this thread, I may as well admit that I wrote that company's advertising tag line.)

Dan: you probably wouldn't recognize my voice as it is unenhanced...but in the past I've done voice overs for Ford Truck (built Ford Tough...they compressed my voice so it was even lower and more "base-y"),NBC news,Weather Channel,Sci Fi,HBO..I've done quite a few impersonations (NIcholson, both Bushes,Clinton, impersonated Billy Bob as Sling Blade for Comedy Central blah, blah ad infitum) for"fun" promos....and I've acted in countless student films (stand-up comedian, mob tough guy, baseball player when I was younger...etc) as I mentor students in the business. I've cut down the "acting" to almost nothing, and I don't have talent representation anymore or I'd probably be doing more v.o. work...my real job (senior commercial editor) takes up too much time now and keeps me happy. I love television...and at the same time, can't WAIT to retire and move to New Mexico with my wife!

I work on the assembly line at a sardine factory. I am the last person on the line and I make sure their eyes are closed before the can is sealed. Very rewarding but my wife says my hands smell funny.

High school teacher for the past 29 years, picture "Welcome Back Kotter"!

Also have coached high school sports at the varsity level, primarily basketball, but also track and cross country for most of those years.

Plus, I try to avoid Taco Bell but often lose when the family is home.

I am not really sure how my bills get paid, but one thing I do know is that I have a guilty pleasure for Taco Bell.
