Wow Al I'm impressed. Your lucky to see a couple of the Cameo Pepsins in an auction, let alone 50 in one lot. How long did it take you to amass all of those? |

They were produced by the Petibone Manufacturing Co. of Cincinnati. Most are found with the "Stenzels Rooter" paper backing, if your Seymour is the same one I saw on ebay I believe it was missing the paper back. One of the players I have (Harper I believe, will have to check later) is the only one from the set I have seen that has a "Petibone Manufacturing" paper insert as opposed to the Stenzel paper backing. Here are my Stenzels... |

Rhett/Al - Thanks a lot for the photos. I love the Pepsin and Stenzel Rooter pins. Unfortunately, think the Pepsin pins are out of my price range (especially Hoy, Ewing & McPhee) and the Stenzel ones aren't much cheaper. Anyway, hope everyone keeps the pictures coming. |

Hi Al, Those are some really great pins you have there. I only have a handful of pinbacks, but your Cy Young pin I won from REA is one of my favorites items in my entire collection. |

I just got this great pin in the mail today. Dan B. gave me the inside line on this baby and I was lucky enough to get it. The seller, Bert Wright, is a great guy who sells on ebay under Wrightstuff. Thanks again Dan for helping out. This is what collecting is about and I hope to return the favor soon. The pin is bigger than I thought as it measures 1-3/4". |

I agree Al. Many of you have seen this one but for those that haven't here it is. I think the writing on the back makes this one. This button had only one owner before me. Her sister thought she lived or worked right on the parade route. I'll help you with the back: |

Just thought I would ressurect this trhead to show the 2 backs for the Stenzel's Pins (I finally got around to scanning them). I have only seen one card with the Petibone backing, and I bought it (It is on my Peitz, not Harper as stated earlier). Just wanted to add how delicate the pin mechanism is on these pins. |

Rhett - Thanks for posting the Stenzel pin backs. Based on the info from your paper back, I believe this is the guy who had the pins made. Note the restaurant/bar across the street from the ballpark in Cincinnati. |
