Muggsy Bogues.

The name is just fitting for some reaon.

Spud Webb is not far off.

I'm not "tall", so maybe I relate somehow.

Darryl Dawkins’ name has decent alliteration. But I always loved his nickname - “Dunk You Very Much”.

God Shamgod. Bonus points because he was a high school teammate of Metta World Peace.

Like in football with MacArthur Lane, there is only one answer to this question, and it is Otis Birdsong.

I know it doesn't count but honorable mention goes to Meadowlark Lemon.

Their names aren't funny by themselves, but I got a kick out having Rolando Blackmon and Ronaldo Balkman in the league at the same time.

The current Thunder roster includes two guys named Jalen (Jaylin) Williams. They are separately referred to as J-Dub and J-Will.

As far as my favorite name it is also my favorite player, Luguentz Dort. I realize it doesn't exactly roll of the tongue like many of the others mentioned here. I like it because the name is like his defense: really difficult to get past.

There are also the obvious great names we overlook because we've been exposed to them so often.

Both Lew Alcinder and Kareem Abdul Jabbar are great names for a dominant, yet graceful center.

Wilt Chamberlain is about the best name you can have for a player of his skill set.
