I will agree with OP on 1 point, sellers should disclose if they are outside of US, items from Canada can take much longer and there can be additional Paypal fees.

It is true that the Seller did not disclose that the card was coming from Canada.
However, the OP bid "$20", not "$20 if I can get it before Christmas" (The auction ended on the 18th. A pre-Christmas arrival was unlikely anyway) A Communication Breakdown led to a failed transaction. Both parties will survive.

Yes....that picture did the trick. Not every auction turns out bad. The guy was from Canada and you didn't want to risk sending F/F. I get that. For 3% more you can send stuff Goods & Services. Yes, it will take a bit to get the card....especially dealing with the problems we are seeing anyway, and even more so to it being international. Like someone else said....it is only a card, and a beat up one at that. There will be others.

Default Hello

The thing is I did pay him paypal gift
and the extra fee from bieng from Canada
which i did not mind either and clearly told
him I will wait the several weeks.
But when asked if the card never turns up
do i get money back then refunds me.
Why? I did everything correctly.
Maybe was meant to be to many red flags
not disclose he outside us why?
And ignorning my messages
Btw it was for news years gift.

A free and better card to replace has been generously offered. I’m just wondering, what is the op trying to accomplish? What would you like to see done?

After all, we are in the middle of a global pandemic where people are dying and losing their jobs. it’s just a card. Let’s be thankful for what we have. Happy holidays to all.
It works both ways... what are you trying to accomplish? And very ugly? The Net54 award for the absolute biggest exaggeration of the day goes to....

Things could be a lot worse. You're making all of this a lot worse (and into a lot more drama) than it needs to be
