Not sure how I missed this thread previously. Jeff Shepherd and I supplied some images of 1940's and 50's items for the exhibit but I didn't realize it had opened yet or that it had actual cards and memorabilia from Topps. I won't get a chance to see it but it looks like fun!

Yes, that was the auction. Thanks so much for the PM and that "Apple Pie" history on the card! It's a heart warming history and all a collector could hope for; it makes what is already a cherished treasure all the more special. Such provenance in this day and age of so many sales is rare, and it's great to see the card's charmed history continues with that museum inclusion, the TV spot, and the smiles it brought and brings! Thanks so much for reaching out.
