The only Goudey I saved from the Lipset set I bought last Spring.
I know it's a hi-res scan, but I really am not trying to encourage anyone from the ohio/kentucky border area to use this as the cornerstone to creating a new set of '33 Goudey forgeries. If anyone really wants a forgery of this card, I'll make you one.

Filled a gaping hole in the HOF collection. It's in two totally separate pieces! Someday, I may have it rebacked.

Shown way too many times, but it fits the thread...
Just about every technical flaw on this one. Crease? Check. Paper Loss? Check. Pinhole? Check. Non-factory cut on bottom left corner? Check Scrapbook paper on back? Check ![]() ![]() Last edited by terjung; 03-30-2013 at 08:20 PM. |

This one is not only missing chunks, but is in two pieces (maybe three...I can't remember if the bottom left corner is detached as well). I scanned the card while in its sleeve, so as to not deal with Mr. Evers disintergrating during sleeve removal.
