I just won the Middy Bread card of Harry Rice and this will be the last Legendary auction for me.

I won a few 19th century lots although the one I am most exciited about is the 1887 Giants California tour program. What a great piece, and it means more coming from Chad and Doug's great collection. Now on to Goodwin, Lew Lipset and REA!

Sweet card - I reluctantly dropped out at $3K. Glad it found a good home.

I was happy to pick this up:

On Day 2, picked up 3 of the 4 items that I was after, '03 W601 Giants, '04 W601 Detroit & '26 Zeenut Averill. Underbidder on the '03 W601 Pirates, which I thought went for a very steep price, I kept "overbidding" but had to stop at $2,300 with the juice.

Congrats to everyone above with their winnings, especially Brians who I've already "vultured" around for scraps.

I FINALLY landed one...(46) 1915 CJs SGC mostly 20's and 30's for what I wanted to pay and not the overbid I had entered. I know these CJs are nowhere near the top of Legendary's rarity item list, but this gets me to 75% of the set and a few upgrades and downgrades in the lot to boot...I am just sitting here, on my day off, happy as a puppy with some peanut butter waiting for the invoice...

Picked up these two lots. Think I did pretty well. Was under-bidder on the T227s, but just couldn't pull the trigger.

In pouring over ALL of the Spring Auctions (minus REA as I haven't seen what they have yet), I only found one card which I really needed for my sets and was fortunate enough to win it last night (Joss).

Joss might also have the biggest head on any card I've ever seen....

Picked up a Wagner too while I was at it....
