Don't feel too bad. I have added 344 cards since the Summer of '12 and only moved up FOUR places. Speaking of which, I have picked up five since my last update. My new MN is 446.9

The FIVE (without an advance in the standings)

87. Ed Cicotte P350
321. Fred Merkle (Portrait) SC150
91. Fred Clarke (Pittsburgh Portrait) P150
504. Vic Willis (With Bat) P460
199. Jimmy Hart (Montgomery) OM

Hi Frank,

I'm at 385 now with 29 different backs represented.

Still looking for one example each of AB460, RH, Uz, Dr and BL460 in PSA 5.

Many thanks for your commitment to this thread,

Default Update me please:

I'm at 13 now.

All of mine are either graded or being graded and the lowest grades I own are SGC 40 and PSA 4.5

Since I really don't want lower grade cards, I know I will never complete the monster.

It is still impressive to me, however, to see how many folks have gotten close. I guess it's kind of like the perfect-game or unassisted triple play of collecting.

Frank- Please update my number to 23 - the last one is still in transit.

I still say it is not my intention to complete the set, just going after the ones that appeal to me, adhere to my standards, and can be purchased at what I feel is a reasonable price.

Hi Frank,

Can you please bump me up to 515 when you have a chance? It may be awhile before I post again! Still need Young Portrait, Cobb Red, Cobb Green, Demmitt St. Louis and O'Hara St. Louis.

Thanks, Steve

I know what you mean, Steve. I have been finished with the commons and the Southern Leaguers for a while. The HOF guys are getting tougher and tougher.

Frank, Go ahead and bump me up to 489.9. I picked up the Evers Blue Sky this week.

Looking at the list, I thought I had given my number but I hadn't. I have a Monster Number of 1 (Ed Killian - Portrait).

I intend to at least double this at the National.

Default Newest member to the 500 club

Frank prematurely outed me (it sounds more painful than it really is), but now I can finally reveal that, with SL Thorton and Smith from a certain M.Macrae, I am officially a member of the 500 club...where I am most likely to stay for the foreseeable future, perhaps forever. Chalk me down for 500, anonymously please.

Frank - please update my total to 88 - picked up Crawford, Duffy, Walter, and Cravath...think I'll just concentrate on HOFers now.
