I think it's definitely worth what you paid. Nothing ever "slips through the cracks" in a Bob McCann Auction, so I don't think you stole it. But these King Patent Gloves are quite tough and don't come along often. This one appears to be a pretty nice example....
I guess you'll know better when you receive it. There appear to be some tears to the lining, so I guess it depends on the severity, and whether that bothers you.... kind of a personal thing. From the front, it should display very well, but the unusual feature is the lacing along the back opening. That's what you paid for, and a pristine example would have cost a lot more! Nice acquisition! |
