1970 on... No particular favorite
1960's: 1963 Topps 1950's: 1956 Topps 1940's: 1940 Playball. Oddly, I don't much care for the 1941's which everyone else loves so much, but I adore this set. So far I'm about 25% through with it in PSA 6-7. 1930's: 1934 Goudey 1920's: 1926 Spalding Champions - out of my price range for the big cards, but I love the design and the photos. Plus all sorts of sports are represented. 1910's: 1915 Cracker Jack |

Well you're just flat out wrong! Just kidding. I like the 40 PB set a lot as well. However, the inclusion of so many tribute cards, which I do not collect, has always dissuaded me from trying to build this set. That said, I have collected all of the "companion" cards to the 41 PB set, i.e. the cards that are photographic images of which the 41 PBs are artistic renderings.
