I have one unopened cello 1960 pack (2nd series). I bought it about 15 years ago for $120 and have thus far resisted the temptation to open it. I bought it from Mark Murphy.

Bruce- I too bought my greatest number of packs in 1960. My mother would give me a quarter and during lunch break I would go to the candy store around the corner from school and buy five packs. What a thrill that was. And the payday would always be finding a Yankee! Didn't matter if it was Jim Coates, as long as it had the Yankee logo in the lower left corner ( I liked Jim Coates because his last name wasn't too far from Sloate).

Default 1960 Topps set

Hi All:

The 1960 set was my first set to collect from the time it came out. I can still remember riding my bike to the small deli/grocer store to buy my first pack. Dave Hillman on top!

I have started a raw set where I am not worrying too much about condition. I have some to trade and need some too. I know this probably belongs in the B/S/T area, but since we are talking about the set here, my lists are below. Email me privately if you need any I have or need. Thanks!!

Eventually, maybe one day, if we quit fighting wars, then cards released after that time shouldn't be considered prewar...
