Unless the reason for the second signature is that the first one was botched (pen skipped, ran out of ink, smeared, etc). I've seen a number of signed items where something went wrong with the signature on the front of an item (usually a photo or postcard with a slick or glossy front image) and the player flipped it over and signed again on the back. Or even worse, re-signed over the top of the original signature with a different (working) pen or marker. In those cases, I would actually rather have JUST the signature on the back. When you get items signed through the mail though, beggars can't be choosers
