Great write-up, I enjoyed it!
Since I started working at Harvard a few years ago, I have enjoyed adding some great pieces of early Harvard collectibles to my collection. I have seen some of the items in Murr which you photographed, but wasn't aware of all you saw! I think I will need to give Renny a call and check it out one day on a lunch break! BTW- you took some photos around Harvard Square, including one of a JP Licks ice cream shop. Did you happen to go into the unassuming tobacco shop next store? It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior is covered with original (and large!) photos of early Harvard teams from the 19th century, along with many football game balls from the 1890s. It might be my favorite place in the square, and no one knows about it! Scott
